Amber Alert Canceled, 3 Month Old Found Safe
June 7, 2011
An Alabama infant that was the subject of an Amber Alert yesterday has been found safe and sound, according to the Alabama Department of Public Safety. No further details were provided when the Amber Alert was canceled Tuesday morning.
Three month old Daniel Jackson Lowe was taken during a car jacking in Ariton, Alabama (southeast of Troy) on Sunday evening, June 5. Daniel and his two siblings Brian Dale Dacus III, and Charles Clinton Dacus were taken by unknown suspects in an alleged assault and carjacking.
Dale and Charles Dacus were discovered Monday in Black, Alabama — that’s on the Alabama/Florida line north of Bonifay. A woman told Walton County deputies that she found the children in the roadway near her home and drove them to a Walton County hospital.

Thank the Lord the child is safe. I do not understand why the authorities are never able to get a description of the crimminals we are to be on the lookout for, cloaking technology? Hello!
May God keep a watch over his little angel and let him return to his family safely.
Everyone pray for this little one! What a SICK world we live in now. Who would take these 3 babies away from their family? Take the car and whatever else, but why make these poor innocent babies suffer for your own personal gain. What are you thinking???? You should be ashamed of yourself!
Thank you for letting the 2 older boys go free, that shows you have some sort of compassion. For whoever has this baby-how would you feel if this was your brother who was missing under these circumstances or your sisters child. How would your mother be feeling right now? Why make a family suffer not knowing what has happened to their precious child-please take this baby to a hospital or somewhere safe so that he can be reunited with his family. I’m sure the family does not care about the vehicle..KEEP IT! Just please think about the little one and make sure he is returned safe and sound.
