Severe Thunderstorm Warning – North Escambia, Atmore

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
northwestern Escambia County in northwest Florida…

western Escambia County in south central Alabama…
this includes the city of Atmore…

* until 545 PM CDT

* at 509 PM CDT…National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in
excess of 60 mph.  These storms were located along a line extending
from 8 miles north of Atmore to Atmore…and moving southwest at 5
mph.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near…
i65 and al 21 through 530 PM CDT…
Atmore…Carney…i65 and CR 1 and Oak Grove around 545 PM CDT…

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 50 and 64.
