I miss my uncle soooo much…my heart is still aching over the circumstances that surrounded his death. It was completely senseless

Is this the fellow who worked in the Customer Service Dept. for years?

This really makes me feel regret. My daughter always loved going through this man’s line at Walmart; he was so cheery and pleasant and so nice to her children, and just gave her a lift by his fun personality. It seems like a wakeup call- if someone we know has a definite personality change and seems in trouble, we need to reach out in love and see if we can lend a hand.

    REGARDING:
” HE could be the real victim!”

You’re allowed to have more than one victim in an event.

    Sad it happened, regardless.

I remember having him as a cashier @ walmart many times. He went from being a highly energetic and happy appearing person to a non social person who had sadness and hurt in his eyes. HE could be the real victim! He couldve been abused in some way and drove to snap! Some people see a killer, I see someone who needs some help, guidance, affection and therapy.

That was his grandfather, not just some random guy. Don’t act like you know the whole story because you don’t. If you knew Thomas at all then you’d know that there is something very strange about this whole situation. I’m not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist but Thomas used to be so happy and full of life and then.. it was as if he had never been happy a day in his life. Look at the possibilities.. it could have been that he was mentally ill (schizophrenia, depression, etc) or it could have been that someone abused him (physically, mentally, verbally) when he was younger or even just within the past couple of years. I’m not saying that’s a reason to excuse what happened but I wish people would try to be a little more open-minded and stop being so ready to point a finger and throw away another human being. People who are mentally ill tend to go to extremes, they may hold it in for a long time and then one day just let it all go. They tend to feel helpless and that no one understands them and that is usually the case.

I agree with you. This young man used to be very outgoing and enthusiastic, but the last couple of times he rang us out he was out of it. He seemed like he did not want to talk at all. He did not ask the normal how are you doing questions or anything and when we spoke to him he just acted like he just could not figure out how to talk. I thought he had a mental illness and maybe had missed meds or something because of the change. I hate this because he was such a sweet young man before the change.

I’m not sure what happened to this young man, but I have seen him working in walmart on hwy 29 in pensacola for at least the past 4 or 5 years, and he used to be very over the top enthusiastic when greeting you and checking you out.

Then over the last year and a half maybe two years, I noticed that he became the extreme opposite. Seems to have quit caring about his appearance as much, barely greeted or made eye contact with you, and overall countenance was just sad. It was extremely noticeable. This guy used to be so zealous in greeting you and responding to everything you said to him, using words like “fantastic, blessed, awesome,” etc. Smiling the whole time and nearly laughing. It was even a bit comical that he was so enthused, but he was an excellent cashier.

I wonder what happened in his life for things to turn so drastically?

My sincere prayers are with this family. I was so shocked when i saw his photo.

Does anyone know what the motive is? Sheesh, at 29, I would have loved to have my g’father still alive! NOT kill the man. Sorry for the family of both the deceased and the accused murderer’s.

I worked with this guy at Walmart. He was one of the nicest guys, but always seemed a little off and liked to keep to himself. This is very sad for his grandfather and his family.

Sad thing is…..the shooter will get LESS time than the lady who just got 25 years for selling Hydrocodone. >-0

It is bad when a person cannot condut activities in their own yard without being killed. I know Mr Kennedy’s family and friends are heart broken and outraged by this senseless act. Let us be prepared.
