Okay, first off, I was the driver of that car. I dont want to hear or see any persons opinion on this situation. I am lucky to be alive and should not be alive right now. I dont remember the wreck or anything before it. But i do know THAT I WAS NOT SPEEDING!!!! even the highway patrol said i was not speeding. AND I ALSO KNOW FOR A FACT I WAS NOT USING MY CELL PHONE!!!! only an idiot would use a phone and drive. and @concerned driver, i do not care what your “opinion” is. you were not in the car with me so how would know if i was speeding or not? everyone needs to keep their petty little comments to themselves. i was the only one in the car. no one else. no one knows the truth but me.
It is a great thing that the driver survived. We were without power for almost 4 hours because of the repairs to the pole. Whether he was using a cell phone or not is not really relevant, with this type of damage and destruction of the vehicle, the driver was clearly going too fast.
It was raining and the speed limit there is 45, but that looks like he was going much faster than 45 at the time of the accident. He is very lucky to be alive considering the condition of the vehicle.
The only explanation for this young man making it through this wreck is THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY AND HIS WONDERFUL MIRACLES. No other explanation can be explained.
I have hydroplaned before…and you have absolutely NO control when this happens…and I think it had just started raining and with the no rain lately, it probley brought all the oils to the surface which made it easier to loose control. I am glad to hear this young man is going to make it…
i went to high school with him
I am so thankful my brother is still with us after this!!!
no he was not using a cell phone. he hit a water puddle & hydroplaned
my prayers for with this young man and his family, maybe the family should check to see if this vehicle had any recalls or safety issues, glad god was his co ploit, wishing him a full recovery.
BIG OOPS!!! I hope that he WAS NOT using a cell phone!!!
This young man is lucky to be alive. God must have had his hands on him protecting him or he would not be alive. I pray for your recovery.
WOW!! I’m glad the young man is OK! I am having a hard time trying to figure out “HOW SO MANY PEOPLE ARE LOOSING CONTROL OF THIER VEHICLES”..You cant even tell what type vehicle ihe was driving…Hope he was using some sort of cell phone!!
I saw the wrecked vehicle after EMS had left. I just can’t believe that he survived it. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
My husband and I came upon the accident yesterday right after it had occurred. It was shocking to say the least. The emergency crew was already there working to get the driver out. I had never seen a car wrapped around a pole. I immediately said a prayer. Thank you, God for helping this person and please continue to help them.
He had surgery on his leg and shoulder. So far he is doing well. Keep him in your prayers.
just the fact that he survived that wreck is a testimony…God was definately in control of this situation.
@bentstraight
What a wonderful slogan. I hope more people listen. It is still horrible
on highway 97, however, the people who would not slow down to
55 and mind the speed limit are sure not going to slow down to 45
and mind the speed limit. All that did was make the speeders more
dangerous and angrier at the people who do obey the speed limits.t
I hope this young man recovers, I don’t even see how he made it at
all, that vehicle looks terrible. I’m glad he is still around to spend
the rest of his life and I hope it’s a good one.
praying for speedy recovery!
Destruction comes in a split second . . . drive like your lives depend on it.
thank all of you for your prayers and concern. so far he is fine but still not ok.. hoping for the best. please keep him in your prayers though.
I pray that this young man recovers from this tragic accident. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
Amen.
God bless them and there families, hope everything turns out well.
praying for this family
