I remember hot summer days as a little boy in Atmore, riding bikes with my friends, you could just knock on any door and say, may I please have a glass of water ma’am and soon you would be refreshed and after saying thank you ma’am , we would be off again peddling furiously through the heat.

This heat is so miserable, and just to think it’s not officially summer yet. People need to stay indoors somewhere where it is cool if possible. We need plenty of rain for sure, everything is so dry that it doesn’t take much to start a fire outdoors… If you have to be out in this heat, make sure you drink plenty of water or gatorade.
