‘Thank You Jesus’ – No Injuries in Bratt Wreck

May 8, 2011

“All Is Well. Thank You Jesus” — those were the words spray-painted on an overturned Chevrolet Blazer discovered this morning on Hanks Road near Pine Barren Road in Bratt.

There was no one around the vehicle when authorities responded. Using the vehicle’s registration information, they determined the Blazer’s owner lived a short distance away. They found the driver,  50-year old Juanita Fears, about to leave her home — and head to church.

Fears told authorities that she had fallen asleep on her way home earlier in the morning. She was not injured.

The accident is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.

I dont think anyone would have been looking for her after reading “ALL IS WELL” on the vehicle! since she lives right near by, doesn’t it make sense she would go home? and is it not obvious that her insurance co. and the authorities were notified since they “responded” as the article states? as a mature woman of God, don’t you think she recognized that the enemy was trying to keep her from church on Mother’s Day yet she overcame any temptation to lay out of church? Why are you so judgemental people?? she stated that she made an “unwise choice” and I am sure as a mature woman of God that she repented. Have you repented for trying to remove the speck of dust from your neighbor’s eye with that big ole log up in your eye???? I am so glad that God is more merciful than you are!! Ugh!!!!!

I am just curious as to why she was at home…heading to church. Are you not suppose to stay at the scene of a wreck…especially one that bad…until the state troopers arrive. I hope that unneccessary time and personnel wasn’t used looking for a potential body thrown from the vehicle before it was traced to who it belonged to . Even if you had to find a ride home….why wasn’t the state troopers called to report the wreck….Just seems like the logical thing to do first…Then head to church……Instead of going and spending the time spray painting it….Just asking. Doesn’t add up!

It was not hard for authorities to figure out the owner of the vehicle. The tag clearly says “JM FEARS”.

My husband has worked nightshift at the papermill for over 20 years now and this is such a big fear of mine. People just don’t realize how hard it is to stay awake for the long drive home until you’ve been in their shoes and worked it. My husband knows her from work and I’m glad she was O.K.

Well… so glad to say that I’m okay. I totaled my truck yesterday morning on my way home from work. Guess I pushed myself a little too far, as most people do… we could all learn a lesson from this. Thank God he is always there. He promised to be a very present help in the time of need. Thankfully he was right there with a hedge of protection around me . This Mother’s Day was very special to me and Kayla. It could have been very different. Please don’t take life for granted. Let the ones around you know you love them and tell them often, be kind and take care of yourself. You never know when it will be the last time. Most of all, ” Put your trust in God… he will never fail you.”

For all those concerned about the truck… its my truck, I can paint it if I want. I just wanted everyone to know that I am fine. The truck is totaled, the frame is bent the hood and roof is caved in and I didn’t get a scratch from the wreck. I did have a seatbelt on. I can say it works cos I was upside down just hanging there when the truck stopped. I thank God, I’m alive. I did pullover and rest a little but I had to get home. I am thankful that God takes care of his children even when we don’t always make the wisest decisions.
Put yourself in the hand of God and he can keep you safe.

    REGARDING:
“Her car is wrecked and she thinks all is well?”

She’s still alive–could be more important to her than the car.

Who cares what the insurance company might think, if, indeed, a corporate entity could be said to possess some sort of cognitive ability?

(These are my assumptions) She owns the vehicle, she pays the premiums, she was happy that she was OK, and she wanted passers-by to know she believed The Son of God had been, and is, looking out for her. With the repair bills, if the vehicle isn’t totalled out, a quick paint job is virtually a certainty anyway.

(If she owns the vehicle outright, and is one of the few lucky folks that is “self-insured”, it’s already a moot point.)

I’m still curious as to why someone would desire to spray paint their vehicle. I guess they got in touch with their insurance company and they said it was OK with them to paint it all up.

  17. terri sanders on May 8th, 2011 5:48 pm

Maybe she figured this was a wake up call from God!
