What are Christians going to do, send all Jews and non-believers to a concentration camp? Public schools are paid for by their taxes too. Just because the area where you live is mostly Christian doesn’t give you legal power to ride herd over everyone. What part of “American” don’t you understand?

Interesting!!!! Giving benefit of doubt, lets just say we had 50% attendance. That means that there are approximately half of the students and parents that are not concerned. Think about it, these are our leaders of tomorrow, boy are we in trouble.

There are roughly 104 students in the Class of 2011 (so roughly half participated). When I graduated, it was a requirement to participate in the baccalaureate service…if you did not participate you did not “walk” during the graduation ceremony…end of discussion!!! And for the record, when I graduated (mid 80s) the baccalaureate service was held ON school property!

And to “BIGDADDY”, the answer is that you can NEVER take God out of schools. This is such a myth that the Devil wants to hand to people…God will always be in schools (and every other walk of life)…the question is…HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO STOP ACKNOWLEDGING GOD IN OUR SCHOOLS??

HOW CAN WE TAKE GOD! OUT THE SCHOOLS ?

Whoever took photos of the Northview High School Baccalaureate service did an excellent job! Thank you so much for recording that event. Very nice. [Answer to Thinker: To find the percentage of Seniors attending the service, divide 54 by the total number of Seniors and that will give you the percentage---for example, if there are 120 (and I do not know the actual number of Northview graduates) your computation would be 54/120=45%].

Can someone tell me how many seniors participated in this event? I know it is optional, but what a great thing that a local church hosted this for the seniors.
