well why don’t ya’ll just wait till the city bus comes up and put them on it and send them to the Leonard Street Station. Patrol car meets them there and gas is saved for a trip to the gym. Cynical comment you might say but then life can be that way sometimes can’t it. Oh and make sure their parents pay the bus fare wouldn’t want it to come out of someone elses pocket. lol
@ D.H. Green Guy, I must tell you that most of your comments are not to my liking, interest, or agreement. However, just this once I must applaud you! Thats was pretty good man!
@David Huie Green
You have the gift of communication! Fantastic illustration. I had a similar picture in my mind as well.
Lets not jump the gun. There could be a warrant issued or a notice to appear for the kids. You don’t always have to take someone to jail on the spot. The jail is a long way from that part of the county. Instead of wasting tax payers money for county gas let the kids parents waste their gas to transport them to court. Atleast law enforcement came to the scene. I’m a law enforcement officer in this county and I can tell you that I try my best when I investigate crimes. Come on, give us a chance. This county is too big and too busy to catch everything.
mr green might have been there to witness it , as I could see it going down like he said! sad, but true.
“You kids see any trespassers?”
“No, officer, none here in the hall and we just checked all the classrooms and didn’t see any there either.”
“Okay, thanks for your help. Oh and you might want to be careful getting that broken glass off your shirt.”
“Thanks, officer, I will.”
I know it didn’t happen that way, but it’s easy to picture it.
David in a world without suspects
Instead of having this problem why not call in a demolition crew and end that kind of mischief after all nobody’s gonna use the buildings for anything else including the old mill then the young people will have to move somewhere else to get in trouble
if the kids were on the property why not charge them with trespassing? there is a fence around the place to keep people out. this would be a deturent for others if they get charged.
