No Known Injuries In Early Saturday Crash
March 5, 2011
There were no known injuries in a single vehicle crash on Wiggins Road near Bratt early Saturday morning.
The driver of a pickup truck slammed into a tree about 12:30 a.m. on the dirt road just north of Highway 168. Emergency responders were unable to determine who the driver of the vehicle was. It was first reported that the driver had walked to a home on Highway 168, but that person as well as other people at the scene claimed to not be the driver.
TheĀ Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue, Atmore Ambulance and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash.

no it wasn’t the son of the owner…the owner has no kids, but i have already sent in some information
gosh – you should call the cops and let them know the first name you have
anyway. That will tell them if it was the son of the owner or possibly someone
that they have living in their home. Give the name of who you heard it from also,
because that is important, then let the detectives do their jobs.
You can bet this is someone that the owner knows and the owner knows
who was driving.
This stuff needs to stop. Running from these things is against the law,
and it’s time everyone stands up and MAN’S UP including the owner.
Something is smelling pretty fishy here! Just saying.
yes, it had a tag…it wasn’t the owner who was driving at the time. if i had a last name, i’d turn in the boy who WAS driving. but, it’s just hear-say, so that doesn’t get me far.
What good happens after midnight? ………..Nuthin.
Who is the owner of the truck? Did it have a tag?
