11 Injured In Nine Mile Road Crash (Updated With Names)

Eleven people were injured in a Nine Mile Road Crash Sunday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 17-year old Airieale Gibbs of LaPlace, Louisiana, made a left turn into the path of a 2010 SUV driven by 52-year old Jeffery Goins, of Gonzales, Louisiana about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Nine Mile and Pine Forest roads.
Gibbs and three passengers in her 2011 Chevrolet receiving minor injuries, including Tremika Warner, 17, of Cantonment, Sherlene Gibbs, 49, and Ashley Gibbs, 12, of Louisiana.
Goins and six passengers received minor injuries, including Valerie Goins, 54; Hannah Goins, 9; Lisa McKinnis, 39; Terry Reese, 15; Cary Reese, 15; and Ebony Gary, 17, all of Louisiana.
Airieale Gibbs was charged with violation of right of way by the FHP.
The eleven injured were transported to West Florida and Sacred Heart hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Both from Louisiana.Maybe they should teach residents to drive before allowing them to leave the state.
Sure glad all injuries were minor, but these folks came a long way to “run” into each other. LaPlace is only about 30 miles away from Gonzales.
