Molino Brush Fire Consumes Several Acres

Firefighters were able to quickly contain a brush fire Saturday afternoon in Molino before it reached two nearby structures.

The fire, which started as a control burn, consumed several acres on Chance Road near Chestnut Road during the early afternoon hours. The Molino and Cantonment stations of Escambia Fire Rescue and the Florida Division of Forestry responded to the blaze.

    If people keep voting to pay less taxes there will be cuts to all these services. Most people want everything, but don’t want to pay for it. Where do you think the money comes from?

    My thanks to our wonderful fire department here in Molino! They do a great job and deserve so much more thanks than they get! We would be in bad shape without them!
