Greater Good Music, Art Festival To Benefit Camp Fire USA

March 5, 2011

Good music, fun children’s activities and more will come together Sunday at the Greater Good Music, Art and Children’s Festival to benefit Camp Fire USA.

The festival, previously held in North Escambia, will take place at Adventures Unlimited in Milton Sunday with a variety of activities, vendors, art, food and plenty of diverse music. The festival will honor Camp Fire USA, a 101 year-old non-profit organization that provides many different programs that help build youth into caring and confident future leaders. Locally, Camp Fire USA offers child care, after-school care, voluntary pre-kindergarten, and other programs in Century, Pensacola and Milton.

As usual anything that might benefit Escambia County goes elsewhere. Why is this? Has anyone ever asked our county commissioners? (And yes, I realize that should be capitalized, but I don’t think they deserve the respect it entails!)

Why did the festival move to milton? It was to have something like that in Bratt!
