This man was a war hero and deserves a break
After serving 5 years in prison
He can do some much good out in society
I have tremendous sympathy for the family of the person who passed and tremendous empathy for Bob. I will keep all parties in my prayers.
This is a sad story…my heart hurts for the families of the victims. LBK is a great guy and a sincerely caring guy whom i had the pleasure of serving with in the military. he had a problem with alcohol and made a huge mistake. i cant say the punishment is unfair because its what i would want if my dad was killed….but i wish there was consistancy in the justice system…total tragedy…an innocent family crushed and a good guy in jail for a very long time.
WOW! Only 13 years!!
@â– Samantha Kepp up the fight. You are correct this person shoul be paying for what he has done as well.
**That should say heart since I only have one….
My hearts go out to those involved in this situation. I don’t mean to stand on a “soap box” but I don’t understand why some get punished and others do not. I am glad to see that justice was served in this case and that this family can rest easier (not easy by any means) since justice was sought out. However, I know for a fact that a man killed 2 people in 2007 in an automobile accident because he was under the influence of drugs. This same man injured a family of 4 in 2009 because, again, he was on the wrong side of the road and was high. How do I know this? I am one of the four. This man has not yet served a day in prison for either accident. I just don’t understand why. Why has the county not taken action against this man? I guess the law doesn’t apply to everyone like it should. This comment is in no way slander, either because it is public record. See here: http://www.northescambia.com/?p=7144 This is only one of the stories about this particular man. There are others here on North Escambia for those that want to look. Again, my prayers are going up for the families involved in the accident stated in this article.
