Caught On Camera: Deputies Seek Barn Burglary Suspect
March 26, 2011
Alabama investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a late Thursday night burglary at a farm near the Alabama/Florida state line.
Surveillance photos show a white male dressed in light-colored pants, a cap and a camouflage pattern shirt or jacket at a barn located off Highway 31 near Florida Highway (CR 8), just east of Atmore.
According to Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Department Investigator Bruce Shue, the man made entry into the barn, taking copper and other items about 11:45 p.m. Thursday.
Anyone with information about the crime, or who may be able to identify the man in the photographs, is asked to call the Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Department at (251) 368-4779 or (251) 867-0304.

Well he has been breaking into peoples houses for years,,,I hope they catch him and put him in jail for a while. If you can’t work you dont deserve anything in life,,he needs to grow up.Come on cops you’ve been informed how about an arrest.
REGARDING:
“Santa Rosa officials could “do nothing” because the camera did not show his face clearly”
Rumor has it crimes have been solved in the distant past even without the aid of cameras, however cameras should give fair aid.
Just look at this picture. You have a man standing beside a known structure. You can get his height from that fact, eliminate those too tall or too short. Skin color eliminates most races. Hair style, hat style (changeable but often unchanged), approximate weight are all in the picture. People who do this often would know to look for things which might not even occur to me such as the fact that the thief seems to be right handed or even his (male) posture. Every visible fact eliminates everybody who doesn’t fit that part of the picture. You can eliminate people who lived too far away to be there at the time (French, Belgians, Russians, et cetera–other than those visiting). As you eliminate everybody who it can’t be, you zero in on who it MUST be.
If what they COULD see were to give them reasonable suspicion whoever they suspected was the one who did the crime, then they could request a search warrant and if the judge were convinced, they could find concrete evidence. That requires the image to be reasonably identifying, the workers be interested enough to pursue and the judge convinced it was worth following up. Drop the ball at any point and the case is just one of suspicion.

and opportunity
Well I could take a guess but I think I know this person. Always accusing people of breaking in his house when he is the theif.
No clear shot of face makes this man unidentifiable without a shadow of doubt. Had the same situation and man just denied doing the crime and he went free. The law watched him and he did not trip up so he was rewarded with the stolen merchandise. The man doing the crime I am speaking of came into an antique store regularly and was easily identifiable by store personnel. Was identified as having been there the day of the crime but Santa Rosa officials could “do nothing” because the camera did not show his face clearly. Good luck on this one. How pathetic are theives that steal your hard earned possesions…. Just saying.
His “success” will likely make him try again elsewhere. Be on guard and prepared to deter him by dog, by gun, by law. The good Lord does not like thieves either and expects decent people to protect and defend themselves. A thief has no respect for themselves, you, your property or anyone you care about.
I think we should have public flogging for crimes like this. It would probably deture a lot of it and would save the taxpayers money too.
I hate a thief. Quit stealing what others worked for.
Well…chances are he won’t get to sell it at Shell Salvage–at least not soon.
geeesh. first it’s our barns, then houses, then bedrooms. well, wait the increase in home invasions makes my statement way behind! come on people! have u no pride?
I can only see his pants and hat due to the camo’s
Shame shame shame. If he’s not caught by Monday, I will be surprised.
>>Looks very familiar.. do they have a description of the vehicle?
Not that they have released. All of the info available is above.

Yep they are stealing left and right. Someone came to my house acouple of weeks ago and knocked on the door, unfortunatly my dog was inside and scared them away, man if he would have just opened the door!
Note the apparent large ears ? or the double spot in the camo pattern at the lower back of his (jacket?). The shoulder pattern is also distinctive.
Those are tough pictures to make an ID from, I sure hope someone has an idea who it is…
…. maybe they got some fingerprints.
A white hat, white pants, & CAMO? If you didn’t know he was dumb because of his thieving ways, you know for sure he’s dumb because he doesn’t grasp the concept of camo.
Really??!!!! Get a job and quit taking other people’s stuff they worked so hard to get!!!
