Byrneville Elementary Celebrates With Literacy Luau

Byrneville Elementary School joined in the excitement of  “Celebrate Literacy Week” with a “Literacy Luau”.

The goals of “Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!” were to promote literacy throughout the state by raising awareness of the programs and projects offered by the Department of Education and its partner agencies and organizations, and most of all, to promote the enjoyment of reading for children and adults of all ages.

    I agree with Michelle. Our child was so excited to get back to school that night. You guys are tireless in your efforts to teach our children. I can’t tell you how great it is when you ask your child what kind of day they had at school and they say “mom, everyday at school is a good day or a great day!” I really appreciate Byrneville!

    Thank you Byrneville teachers and staff, you are the BEST!!!!! You are all so creative, and make learning fun for our children…This was an awesome event.
