Cumbie was treated for minor injuries by an Escambia County EMS crew but was not transported to a hospital.

The suspects in this case face robbery and battery charges.

If I knew what bank she used or her address, I’d send her some money to help her out. She’s been taking care of her sick daughter in her house for many years.

Channel 3 said she was headed to the bank to make a deposit of $1000.00.That’s a lot of money for this lady.

Seems like a new twist on the Bump and Rob trick that thugs use against unwary motorists – the thug intentionally rearends a vehicle and robs the driver when they get out to inspect the damage. Usually in a very unfriendly neighborhood, an isolated road, or late at night. The scary thing is that this was in broad daylight!

Sure glad this lady wasn’t killed by the thugs. Sure hope the Sheriff gets these thugs off of the streets!

People be wary. The streets are not safe in some areas – best to avoid those routes. The Sheriff has a map of criminal activity for neighborhoods at their website, and it is a eye-opening experience.

As far as I am concerned anytime you prey on someone else and take something
that doesn’t belong to you your lower than a snake. Bad economy is no
excuse for anything. Not even stealing food. If you tell someone your hungry
nine times out of ten they will give you something.
I see it everyday with the beggars on street corners.

I don’t want to hear excuses for thieves. My mother taught me better than that
    when I was only 4.

Theft is a lazy mans game!

This is SAD!! People are absolutely going crazy! What has happened to our society? Can not blame this one on “Bad Economy” just plain meanness and lack of morals

OMG!!!!! These lowlifes need to be put under the jail. Before ANYONE posts anything about it being because of the economy, it’s not! It’s because they have no morals, and prey on the weak!!!
