Seized From Abuse, ‘Lil Momma’ Needs A Home
January 22, 2011
Volunteers are looking for a good home for “Lil Momma” — a dog that was seized by Escambia County Animal Control from a Century home back in December.
The owner surrendered and released the dog, and she is being housed at a kennel. She had three nursing pups. One died, and the other two have been adopted.
Panhandle Equine Rescue is working to find a home for the three-year old dog, and they say she has a sweet temperament and has shown no aggression towards humans, dogs or cats. For more information, call (850) 587-2754.

She is soo pretty. She looks like a Southern Curr
Yes she is a pittbull. This dog was the one they got from the Century mans house who also had the other dogs and horses. She is very pretty and lucky too! But i already have 3 bulldogs and a chi chi or else i would get her. I hope someone does.
Escambia county still say they do not adopt out the breed, but they are also saying this dog is little to no pit in her. Very untrue! This is a pit! She may not be full blooded but it is her primary breed, I have owned and raised this beautiful breed my whole life! I pray she finds a home.
She is beautiful. Could still use a few pounds yet. I had a blue-nose this color a few years back. What is the County Animal Control policy on adopting pits out now? I guess it has changed since back then..
she is too cute to be true! i wish i could have her!
Beautiful dog! I love animals and if I didn’t already have 9 cats and 2 dogs – all strays but 2 – I would love to have her. It’s hard enough to buy food for these and keep them up to date at the vets – 0h yes, they all have been fixed and sleep inside our house when it’s cold.
I don’t understand animal abuse, spousal abuse, nor child abuse – thank Heaven!
