Lap Dance Lands Probation Officer In Trouble

January 4, 2011

Former probation officer Barry Lett of Pensacola entered a guilty plea Monday to one count of unlawful compensation or reward for official behavior and one count of battery.

The charges arose from an incident where the defendant compelled the victim to perform a private lap dance in her home in Escambia County, according to the State Attorney’s Office.  At the time of the incident, the victim was on probation and being supervised by Lett.

Judge Michael Allen scheduled sentencing for January 28, 2011. Lett faces up to 21 months in state prison.

    molino jim,
sometimes I wonder if some of these folks aren’t acting up so they can get with “big bubba” in the pen. At least then some of it would make SOME sense, of a sort.

David thinking there’s probably easier ways

This is why the younger generations do NOT trust any kind of LEO. In days gone by, you could rely on the integrity of any you came into contact with, but no more. Unfortunately, this kind of thing happens a lot more often than we think. Why would you trust someone who does things like this?

AS AN EX-PROBATION OFFICER HE MAY BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO GIVE ‘BIG BUBBA” LAP DANCES, AFTER THE LIGHTS GO DOWN LOW, IF HE GETS JAIL TIME.THINGS ARE NOT GOING TO BE GOOD FOR HIM.
