Cottage Hill Woman Jailed On Drug Charges

December 11, 2010

A Cottage Hill woman is facing multiple drug charges after deputies discovered meth and drug equipment at her Elna Road Home.

Terra Cae Palmer, 34, is charged with possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a listed chemical (ephedrine) and manufacturing methamphetamines.

When deputies arrived as Palmer’s residence to serve an outstanding drug warrant, they discovered the meth and drug equipment, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office report.

A Hazmat team was called to the residence to dispose of some of the chemicals that were discovered, according to the report.

Palmer is being held in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $50,000.

@brokenhearted mom….jails and prisons have many people confined to them who were”raised in church”. This woman WAS a good person. She WAS a good mother. She made her choices and created a hardship on her husband, set a horrible example for her children and left her mother heartbroken.
All families have or will face horrific tragedies. Cancer, heart disease, rape, sexual abuse, a loved one killed in an accident or in war or murder or suicide.
    Life is about choices!
Praying that you and your family will learn to cope with this sad situation and that the children can still get the love and nurturing they need!

we were all born “lovely” people until the world began to influence us ..reality can be tragic but in the end we are all a product of a series of our own choices

  6. brokenhearted mom on December 14th, 2010 5:32 pm

I am her mother, so let me set the record straight. Up until the last few years she was a hardworking person who was a great mom. Her reaction to a series of horrific events in our family led her down this road. Bad choices on her part, I am making no excuses for her. She was raised in church and knows God and I firmly believe he saved her life by putting her in jail. The boys will be fine, our family will pull together like they always do and they will get the guidance and counseling they need. So do pray for us and all the other families whose lives have been disrupted by drugs.

What a terrible choice this woman made. YES, it was her choice to use drugs or not. Most likely she already knew what meth would do, and she made the choice. And it’s a shame about her boys. She didn’t love them enough to stay away from the drugs. Give her a second chance? She prolly wouldn’t recognize a second chance if it were handed to her on a silver platter. I’ve seen it….and so have many of you! Basically, she is dead, just hasn’t stopped breathing and hasn’t fell over yet.
Now someone says her husband has heart disease but is doing the best he can with the children. Don’t know the ages of the children, but they are in for some rough years ahead. Sure hope they have the desire and fortitude to pull themselves above the example set by their mother!

no..this isnt the same trailor….that was at the end of McKenzie where the trailor burned down. I believe this lady had the lab blow up in her face a few months ago, not sure if its the same lady, but it is at the same trailor. P…I think we can all feel for the boys. They are innocent in all of this and no matter what kind of person she is or the choices she’s made to end up in this situation, they love their mom im sure. I know I will be praying for them.

  9. p on December 13th, 2010 3:50 pm

She may not be mother of the year. But she is the only one motherthey will have and they love her .leave the boys out of this. And this hopely just what she needed to get out of this. There will be more people going down for meth around here .

  10. Safe?? on December 13th, 2010 2:54 pm

Where is this in comparison to the trailer that burned down on the corner of Elna and McKenzie that was the meth lab?

I wish i had a nickle for every GOOD person who;s lives went to hell over DRUGS..This is the perfect picture what drugs do. Most of the time it,s someone they love and trust that introduces the drug to them….

  12. happy on December 13th, 2010 11:02 am

Is this the lady that lives in the trailor on the north end of Elna? I hope it is because there have been problems one after the other with this place. One guy was arrested after leaving that house…walking down the road to the bus stop, waving a knife at the kids, high on meth! It is a family neighborhood and this kinda stuff needs to STOP! Its sad that there is no one to help ppl like this, to teach them a trade or find them a real job so they can stop doing this stuff. Even sadder that 9 times out of 10, if given the opportunity to better themselves, they wont take it.

  13. p on December 13th, 2010 8:04 am

Funny whay yall think you know over a mug shot lol. The so call marks you see have been there way before the drugs. GLASS HOUSES PEOPLE. When your perfe I would love to meet you till then if your going to pray for terra and her family then pray for your self. Her boys love her and do miss there mom but are ok. The father has a bad heart and has had servel heart attact and stents but he does his best with the boys and has a not of support . So keep god in your heart and pray for them.

  14. Horrific! on December 13th, 2010 7:14 am

It is so sad……and she has the skin marks of the meth ….

Someone said on here that he read up on this drug….and that it ruins the
brain connections so the ppl can never be the same.
I believe this….my housekeeper had been on drugs and I thought she
was all right and had cleaned herself up and I gave her big tips to help her
get herself stable and rent a nice home…..but alas….the more she talked
when she came here the more I knew she didn’t think right and I was wondering
if she was using again…..but now I believe she just had ruined her thinking
    process of her brain.

    WHY???? WHY???? WHY????
I will never never understand…and this girl has 3 children….
    May GOD help them.

WHY would anyone ever take a drug that does this much damage??????
    ARE they STUPID!!!!!
Someone please explain this to me…..I hate crying over these ppl….I hate crying
    over these children……

AND THEN I GET SO ANGRY!

“Good mother”? Are you serious? This has been going on for a long time. Ask the neighbors. Ask people who know her. She is definitely NOT ever going to be a candidate for mother of the year.

  16. Concerned parent on December 13th, 2010 6:34 am

I am 42 and I look at least 10 years younger than she does. Maybe just not doing meth is the best beauty treatment there is.

  17. Concerned parent on December 12th, 2010 10:14 pm

Excuse me, if that’s what 45 looks like, omg, i am not looking forward to that at all.

  18. p on December 12th, 2010 10:02 pm

The boys still have a good mom. And are being well cared for. She is not the one we all loved but will be that mother again even if it kills me.

Just say, “NO!” to religion and to drugs, and say, “YES!” to Jesus. Then, read Luke 11, and do what it says in Romans 12:1. Best choice anyone could ever make. For REAL!!!

  22. LuLu on December 12th, 2010 6:46 pm

    34 looks 45…what a shame.

They make their own choices but bad ones ruin lives, theirs and their families. In this case three children who used to have a good mom.

  25. p on December 12th, 2010 11:33 am

She a very lovely person well till the drugs got her that is.

Another of the many faces of meth. Same age as my daughter, but looks much older. This stuff is ruining peoples lives. But I do understand that they make their own choice in life……
