chili’s always good
i hope we get snow for Christmas, then we can have a big pot of Christmas chili.
You should call Escambia County Public Information office for information regarding cold weather shelters, 595-3476 or 595-4933, customer service.
Everyone put an electric blanket on your beds it makes a difference and your
heat can even be off.
I’ve had enough cold weather! When is spring????
i wish i had gas for heat tonight its going to be cold in this old house
if i remember correctly there are around 1500 homeless in escambia county according to a headcount they did a couple of years ago…does anyone remember that? wonder how many are kiddos…
A high of 88 here in San Diego today so I will wear shorts today
Talk to your County Commissioners! Maybe they can get find time to do something. Hmmmm…….
Not personally, just hear customers in the pharmacy asking where is the shelter.
There are quiet a large number of “homeless” in our area according to hearing different residents talk…also many with homes cannot afford to heat them etc. Most cities offer a shelter and I believe the City of Century should do so as well. They could do a joint effort with area churches but the city provide the place, and coordinate the volunteers for coverage etc. Just see a need ‘ cause “Baby, It’s cold outside”!!!!
some hot chocolate and candy would be good to bundle up with, right now.
Interesting — it was 43 this morning in Reykjavik, Iceland.
DO you KNOW someone personnally who needs a place….are there children
involved?
Are there any shelters open for those in need in the north-end?
