Young Boy Dies After Molino Horse Riding Accident

An 11-year old boy died after a horse riding accident Friday morning in Molino.
The victim was identified by authorities as Ransom Middle School student Hunter Fromm.
Authorities have released few details about the 11:15 a.m. incident in the 1200 block of Warhop Lane, not far from the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 95A. Fromm reportedly suffered a head injury after jumping from a horse at a private residence.
LifeFlight was requested to the scene but was unavailable due to weather. Fromm was transported to a Pensacola hospital by ambulance where he later died.
The incident is under investigation by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, but foul play is not suspected.

I didnt really talk to him much
the only time i saw him was at the baseball field with his brother!! My best friend kamryn was like BESTIES with him !! It made me soo HEARTBROKEN when i heard about Hunter Fromm’s death:’( to this day i will still cry over him !! We little knew that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone: for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

I used to live a few doors down from Hunter when I was younger and he was always happy and laughing and having a good time. I was sad to hear this news about his death. Hunter rest in peace at Jesus’s side. And to Hunter’s family, remember him always in your heart and know that he’s in a better place and I will always be praying for you.

I had the pleasure of working with Hunter’s aunt at a school several years ago and actually met Hunter when he was just a chubby-cheeked, cutie pie baby. I ended up transferring to another elementary school in the county and a few years later, Hunter became a student there. I introduced myself and told him about the connection I had with his aunt and that I remembered playing with him when he was just a baby. He seemed to think it was pretty cool that I remembered him. From then on when Hunter would see me, he would always speak. I cannot think of a time when I didn’t see a smile on his face. He was a polite, well-spoken young man. He was a joy to be around. Even though his time here on Earth was short, he obviously made a positive mark on many people’s lives. What a blessing to have known him! Even though we may not understand why this has happened, God has a plan. Fromm family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love and peace to each of you during this time.

I didn’t know Hunter Fromm, he went to my school, and every time I hear ‘If I Die Young’ now I think of him, I think of how it’s so unfair that he hasn’t gotten to do so many things I have, even though I’m only in the eighth grade, but, being older I’ve done more in my life, that he hasn’t gotten to, that I took for granted, thinking all kids do it and it’s not some big deal, but he may not have gotten to do those thing’s, and, though I didn’t know him personally, I know he’ll be missed by many. Life Flight is in our area often and know when it is safe to land and when it is not. As we sat on our porch watching them fly over, we prayed for the family. When we saw them leave we knew they couldn’t land due to the wind shifts and weather conditions and prayed again for the family. Our daughter was a friend of Hunters and has only happy memories with him. Mom and Dad it is obvious you are good parents who loves your children. As you go through a parents worst nightmare, know you are not alone. We are all with you. Reach out to us when you need us, we will be there for you with open arms. Life Flight has strict rules when it comes to flying in inclement weather. Also, even though the weather over the scene may have been a little rainy, the weather between Baptist Hospital and the scene may have been more severe. Life Flight crews put their lives on the line every day, but unfortunately they have limitations as well. Many EMS helicopters have been lost across the country in the past because of weather related issues, so the rules concerning flying in inclement weather have become more restricted over the years, not only for the crews’ safety, but for the safety of the patient as well. I didnt know Hunter very well but I know his brother Tristan. The few times I met Hunter he was very funny and sweet, I know he will be missed by many friends. Tristan your Family is in my thoughts and prayers during this sad and tragic time.

This is horrible, I’ve been crying all night :/ I’ve only met him a few times though but I know his brother. God knew it was his time and he took him for a reason. If God put the family to this then God will bring the family through it.

Our prayers go out for this family during this time, my daughter went to school w/ Hunter @ Beulah Elem & Ransom Middle, they played in Orchestra together.

This can ruin the holidays for this family for years to come. It is so hard to overcome the grief. The idea of “closure” just doesn’t fly. We who have also lost grieve with you.

I think they might have meant something along the lines of the loss of a loved one is always harder at the holidays. There is never a good time to lose someone but its harder to enjoy holidays with the loved ones you still have when your heart is heavy with missing those that are gone.
I was great friends with Hunter. He was an awesome friend at school and I pray for his family.
