Man Busted On Drug Charges After Shopping For 5 Hours At Dollar General

An area man was arrested on drug charges after he spent five hours shopping inside a Dollar General store.

Robby Edward Brown, 26, of Wilson Avenue, was booked into the Baldwin County Jail on  charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia,  public intoxication and third degree theft of property.

Deputies responded to the Dollar General in Perdido in north Baldwin County after Brown had been in the store for five hours. According to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Brown thought he had only been in the store for a short time period.

Brown remained in the Baldwin County Jail early Wednesday morning with bond set at $8,041.

    YES, it is UNREAL aubrey, maybe he thought he was at the “pawn shop” ………
    we all know that guns, guitars, and tools aint the only item’s for sale there :)
    sell it to them and then judge their actions :(

    I know the stores are big now but it took him 5 hours to go frrom one side to the other. Big he buy one of everything!!!

    I don’t think I would have let him stay in my store 5 hours… Always know who is around you…..

    You’d have to be high to spend that much time in a Dollar General Store. He’s obviously bursting with pride. Is this a record? Thank goodness he was arrested and hanged before he could do any more damage.

    Judging from the way he’s holding his head, he must have been shopping for something on the top of a shelf…….Five minutes is a reasonable time to shop at a Dollar General.
