Galen Goetter Graduates From Basic Training

Air Force Airman Galen M. Goetter has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Glen and Abby Goetter of North Pine Barren Road, McDavid.

    I AM SO HAPPY FOR MY BROTHER THAT HE IS AIR FORCE HE HAS A REALLY GREAT HEART I JUST WHATED TO TELL EVERYONE THAT MY BROTHER HAS A BIGHTR FUTURE THAT HE WILL BE IN THE MILLITARY.

    Thanks for all your prayers and support for Galen. He just recently finished his second training at Wichita Falls, TX. He will leave for Seymour Johnson AFB, in North Caroline on Thursday. Congratulations Galen for finishing your second Training. We knew you would do it. We Can Not Wait to SEE you soon!
