Ernest Ward FFA Sells Over Three Tons Of Sweet Potatoes
November 23, 2010
Members of the Ernest Ward Middle School FFA sold over three tons of sweet potatoes as a fund raiser. The 20-pound bags of Baldwin County sweet potatoes were delivered to the students on Monday to deliver to their supporters.
Funds from the Ernest Ward Middle School’s annual sweet potato sale are used to support group activities during the year.

EWMS FFA would like to thank our community for the support that is always given to us. We wish all of you a great Thanksgiving. We also give a special thanks to Ms. Bonnie and Mr. Ron at Diamond B Feed and Hay on Hwy 164.
I got 2 bags from my granddaughter.I love them fried ,or baked. They are healthy, except for the butter, but it’s the holiday season so we can splurge a little bit.
Mmmmmmmmm….sweet potatoes are so good. Wish I could have gotten a bag…After they are baked, take the leftover cold sweet potato, slice it & fry it in olive oil…Delicious & healthy..Nothing wrong with real butter. It’s so much better for you than margarine….
Awesome for the FFA.
>I got my bag yesterday, washed and nuked one to eat last night.
I boiled up a pot of ‘em last night. Just add an unhealthy amount of real butter. Mmmmm.
