November 13, 2010

A Friday morning wreck involving a Cantonment resident left nearly 2,000 Gulf Power customers without power.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Lonnie G. Craft, 54, experienced a medical problem and hit a power pole and electrical boxes on Detroit Boulevard in the Ensley area. Craft was pulled from the vehicle in serious condition before the 2006 Mercury caught fire.

Craft was not charge in connection with the accident.

This is my dad. He is okay. He is just banged up pretty bad, We are so thankful that a good samaritan that stopped and pulled him out. They saved his life and I’m so thankful for that person.
