Traffic: That’s Just Nuts
October 14, 2010
Traffic was just “nuts” on North Highway 99 for a couple of hours Thursday afternoon after a semi-truck’s load of peanuts was accidently spilled over a stretch of the highway. The incident happened about 12:45 p.m. near Highway 164. The roadway was cleared by about 3 p.m.

This may sound and look like a big joke to some people but I promise you that the family the peanuts belonged to is not laughing. They have a hard time getting crops out of the field and they depend on them for their living. Hope they have better luck with the next load.
NUTTER! NUTTER! NNNNUUUUTTTTSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooops! someone forgot to lock the tailgate … They did a good job of cleaning it up. I went thru there yesterday afternoon and there wasn’t much evidence of the peanuts.
Pray for this Farmer and his Family. That’s his living on the ground!!!!!
My Mom and I passed by this today on our way to P’cola. We thought maybe it was an accident since there were flashing police lights ahead, but it was only peanuts. And yeah, the guys looked pretty mad. LOL
Who is gonna bring the boiled water for boiled peanuts, peanut butter, and oh NUTTERS! No peanut banana bread!
Now that’s a peanut spread!
I love northescambia.com – it’s so up to date. I don’t have to wait til a newspaper comes out to find out what’s going on around here. Matter of fact, I don’t even get any newspapers anymore.
