Tate Teacher Is State Scholastic Press Teacher Of Year

Cynthia Reeves, Multmedia Academy teacher at Tate High School, has been selected as the Teacher of the Year for District 1 by the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA).

District 1 includes Escambia County, Santa Rosa County and Okaloosa counties. She will now compete for the State FSPA Teacher of the Year in April at the state convention.

Reeves, who holds a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee, teachers journalism and television production at Tate. She has been at Tate High School for three years.

    Congrats to Cindy. She was a very good reporter at WEAR-TV and no doubt her experience helps her teach the students.
