Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help To Solve 20-Year Old Century Murder

Authorities are looking for information in a 20-year old unsolved Century murder.

On, Saturday, October 27, 1990, sixty-two year old white male Dawyn Woodley Worick was found deceased at his residence in the area of Cottage Street and Old Flomaton Road in Century. Investigators determined that Dawyn Woodley Worick was murdered.

Investigators are still looking for the person or persons responsible for Worick’s murder. Anyone with any information regarding what might have happened to Dawyn Woodley Worick, or anyone familiar with Dawyn Woodley Worick during the time frame leading up to October 27, 1990, is asked to contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit at (850) 436-9580, or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

    I hope someone will tell somthing and if they are to scared call crimestoppers and think about it if you are a person that was told about what happened to this person you probably are not the only one just be the one that does the right thing and tell so this man can rest in peace. Im sure you would want your loved ones to know what happened to you if it did. And that is another thought Are the killers or killersacred of being told on?
