Fire Heavily Damages Home’s Pool Deck
October 20, 2010
Fire heavily damaged the wooden deck of a Davisville home Wednesday afternoon.
The fire in the 9800 block of Highway 97 was reported just before 5 p.m. A large section of a home’s pool deck was destroyed by the fire, but the home was not damaged. Residents of the home had partially knocked the fire down and protected the back wall of the home using garden hoses prior to the fire department’s arrival.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known. There were no injuries reported.
The Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue and the Atmore Fire Department responded to the blaze.

Geez I didn’t ask how much they cost. I know what they cost!
I just love the trees and thats why I commented on the trees and they
must love trees too.
What is your real BEEF?
Get real people the price of the palm trees have nothing to do with the fire. Would it be anyones business how much those trees cost. No one was hurt that’s all that matters.
Oh I know that house
Isn’t that the one with all the palm trees?
Sure glad no one was injured
I always said that person sure must have loved palm trees because trees that
big are expensive.
Glad no one was hurt. Stuff can be fixed or replaced, but not people! good job to the boys from the Fire Department for “taking care of business”
with no injuries I would call this one a happy ending.
