To Cassie Newton: Thank you for calling 911 immediately. It was comforting to know that paramedics arrived so quickly.
To Terri Parker: I am so thankful that you all were not hurt seriously. My prayers for you will continue.
To all those that assisted with the accident: Thank you for saving my momma’s life. Even though she perished 8-20-10, I was able to spend 13 extra days loving her. Thank you.
Ms. Newton,
Thank you so much for calling 911 I was all thumbs. I did get my self together engouh to call my brother that lives with me and let him know I was in the wreck and he got someone to come up tot he hospital with me. You were great, I could not believe how quickly the police got to that wreck. I knew Ms. Howington was hurt pretty seriously, that is why I told them to go to her first. The kids were out of the car with me and I was out of the car, but I knew she needed immediate help.
Thank you so much you were really great.
Kirby thank you for letting me know about your grandmother, I knew she was not well when I stepped out of my care. I went today (Monday) to get the things out of my car and Mr. Rapp said some of Ms. Howington’s family had been up to get some of her things. I am so glad she is showing improvement. I have thought about her so much and not knowing who she was or anything about her, I was kind of upset, but I feel better now that I have heard from you. The police office said that the only reason myselt and my 9 year old neice and 3 year old nephew did not get hurt any worse than we did was because of all of the air bags that was in my vehicle. Needless to say I will get the sam kind of vehicle. My insurance adjuster said that he wsa 95 percent sure that my car was total. I hope Ms. Howington continues to improved and please let her know that I am very sorry she got hurt so bad and that we are fine. The kids and I are going to see the doctor again tomorrow. I stil having quite a bit of pain when I breathe on on my right side but and my left leg but the kids I think are fine.
Once again thank you and please keep everyone updated on Ms. Howington and do not forget to tell he my family and I have her in our prayers.
I’m the grandson of the older lady in the wreck, Sallie Howington. I’m so thankful that the Parker family was not seriously injured. My grandmother is still in critical condition, however she is showing slight improvement. Thank you for thoughts and prayers.
ms. parker,
I am the one that called 911….I am so sorry about your wreck and I am sorry i didnt try to help anymore that what I did. I had never witnessed a wreck before and freaked out a little!!! I hope everyone is well….I was behind the truck that pulled out at the stop sign so I saw the hit and I am so glad that you all are okay!
Has anyone heard from the other lady.
I am glad to know that the other 3 people were checked out and that they are doing fine… Bless you all as well.
Julia: We are all fine. I just hope the lady is fine. Once again thank you for taking care of Blake for me. We all got checked out and we are doing fine.
Ms. Parker,
I am the person that took care of your nephew. Sorry about your accident. How are you three doing? Tell the two kids that I said hello.
Julia Downing
I am not sure who the lady was that took care of my little nephew at the wreck. She even offered to come to Jay with us. I greatly appreciate your help and I think your daughter called 911 I would like to also thank her.
I was the driver of the SUV, the kids and I are fine. I hope the lady in the pickup truck is okay. I was so worried about her that I told them to take care of her first that we were okay. She is in my prayers.
I was headed to Summer Jam a little after this happened….and the roads were still blocked off so i figured it was pretty bad. Prayers for all involved! GOD will take care of it! (:
