The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Cantonment home invasion.

A homeowner woke up Sunday morning to find a man inside his home with a gun. The gun reportedly came from the homeowner’s truck outside the residence on River Annex Road.

The incident occurred about 5:15 a.m. Deputies said the man tried to rob the homeowner at gunpoint. After demanding money, the suspect fled. A Sheriff’s K-9 unit attempted to track the man, but they were unable to locate him.

How can the public offer any help if we don’t have a description, age, race, fled (on what or in what), what direction did this person go off in, anything???????? Nothing won’t help. Did this person take ANYTHING! Why ask the public for help when we have NOTHING to go ON. Get real North Escambia!!!!!!

This is concerning to say the least, I know that this is always a possibility these days but when it is this close to home it is scary.

    William,
    I’m with TJ….
Can you get us more info?
    What did he look like?
Was he familiar to the victim?
Do they have ANY idea who it was?

    Thanks

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Another dirt bag on the loose and police didn’t get him.

I have told them many times about one of my neighbors and
they just say do you have any proof.

If you show them something they don’t even investigate.

    My minds not gone.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ME BUT THE WHOLE REST OF
THE WORLD HAS GONE TO CRAP AND NOBODY CARES…..
