Florida’s Former Most Wanted Enters Not Guilty Plea

June 23, 2010

A North Escambia resident that was recently the most wanted man in Florida has entered a not guilty plea to 20 child pornography charges.

Martin Lyle Christianson, 57, is facing 20 felony counts of possession of child pornography, including images of child molestation. His bond was originally set at $1 million, but it was reduced to $100,000 by Judge John Parnham. Christianson has not yet made bond; he remains behind bars in the Escambia County Jail.

In May, Christianson was named the Florida Attorney General’s most wanted fugitive in the state after he fled his residence at 452 Crowndale Court in the Cottage Hill community in a used ice cream truck that was later found abandoned in Mobile. He was arrested without incident on May 22 in Terrytown, Louisiana, by U.S. Marshals and local authorities.

He  is due to be back in court August 24 for a docket hearing, and his jury trial is set to being September 13.

Christianson is also wanted in California on a four-year old warrant for commercial sex charges. Authorities there believe he put his wife to work in a brothel.

You know he must have needed to sell ice cream for gas money while on the road. The poor children need prayer.

    Take that ice cream truck
and run over him or better yet he should be tied to the back of it and draged down the road!

He might want to pray that he did not have anything to do with my child or any I’m related to. Bubba would be alot easier on him than me. Your safe in jail!!!!!!!!

Mandatory castration, without anesthesia, with a butter knife. Then go after the judge who lowered the bail!

what he is supposed to have done is not funny but taking an ice cream truck as a gettaway car is.

maybe he just wanted the ice cream for himself

David thinking if you gotta flee,
you flee in what you got

If he wasn’t guilty, why was he fleeing in an icecream truck? Of all the things to flee in, an ice cream truck? And why would we want to reduce the bail on this creep? Lock him up in max with someone big and burly who has young children. Or better yet, lock him in a room with the parents of the kids he messed up. Let them have him for, say, a few hours. There’ll be no urges left in him after that

    @molinojim
Sounds good to me. Easy solution. I like.

Get his truck and disable it—lock him inside bound and gaged—in a nice sunny spot and come back in about a month. He should have sweated the desire for little children out of his system by then. OH MY GOODNESS HE’S UNABLE TO LAST THAT LONG—-SO BE IT.

I think some real men need to “take care” of this guy once and for all.

Wow, fled in an ice cream truck?! Nothing like having an instrument of easy access to kids. Face it, he can’t be cured of his sexual deviant behavior and the judge should be locked up for lowering his bond to a reachable figure because this man has already demonstrated his desire and ability to flee.

His bond should have been kept at 1 million…….if the judge wanted to change it – 2 million.
