Two Zachs Each Hit Three-Run Homers

May 28, 2010

Two different players named Zach each hit three-run homers Thursday night as a Northwest Escambia Major League boys team finished their season with a win. Zach Payne, 11, (pictured right) hit a three-run home run in the first inning, and Zach Holland had a three run homer in the fifth as their Amerson Roofing team picked up a 16-12 win. I was there too. Those homers were bombs to centerfield. I mean, they went a long, long way. If it weren’t for the pitchers walking 12 batters, the score might have been 16 – 2. Great job kids.
