Nearly 500 Students Take Part In Sunshine Math Competition

Nearly 500 Escambia County third, fourth and fifth grade students took part in the annual Sunshine Math Competition Saturday morning at Tate High School. Bratt, Molino Park and Jim Allen elementary schools participated from the North Escambia area. Hannah McGahan from Molino Park Elementary placed third in the individual third grade category. It was the most amazing thing ever!We all worked really hard.
I am so proud of my Catherine and all the other third graders, Mrs Jackson should be commended for her hard work preparing the children for this. They all seemed to enjoy the challenge.

This is a great program. Remember when my daughter participated at Bratt. It really takes a lot of volunteers to pull everything off as well as the students’ efforts at home. Congratulations to all!
