May 5, 2010
A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with an SUV this afternoon on Highway 29 in Cantonment.
The accident happened just after 3:00 on near Sharon’s Diner. The motorcyclist was apparently unable to stop when the SUV in front of him braked. The motorcycle driver was transported by ambulance to a Pensacola hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Further details were not available.

I agree with motorcyclerider 110%!! People have no respect for anyone these days. I’ve had close call’s and it’s nearly always a driver not paying attention.
And No, there is no suicide clutch on this bike.
whitepunknotondope: You must have never been a motorcycle. Four wheeled vehicles mistreat them all the time. You can not just stop, like most people believe. Four wheeled drivers treat motorcycles and semi trucks the same way WITHOUT RESPECT!! No more explaining needed if you have been on one! I was not there at the time of the accident, but I have seen more than my share!
Motorcycle was following too closely perhaps?
Nice bike. Is that a suicide clutch I see there?
Kristi must be staying on the road [US 29] lately.
A lot.
