Firefighters Respond To Trailer Fire

Fire stations from across the area responded to a reported mobile home fire about 2:10 this afternoon.
A small fire was reported in the outside wall of a double-wide mobile home that was being located on North Canoe Road, just off North Century Boulevard. The fire was quickly reported to be out.
There were no injuries and no major damage to the unoccupied home.
The Century, McDavid, Molino and Walnut Hill stations of Escambia Fire Rescue and the Flomaton Fire Department were dispatched to the incident.

thank you so much for using the word mobile home. what ever the type of people
living in them it is still their home. there is a stigma still attached from years prior of certain people being referred to as trailer trash. there are some very beautiful & some very expensive homes that are made to be mobile to get to your homesite also some that makes for affordable homes for rent which we have but we do not have any trailer trash. when they are called trailers it is an insult to some very hard working people.
