As a yellow flag flew over Pensacola Beach Saturday, lifeguards rescued over 30 swimmers. Rough surf conditions are expected to continue on Sunday. All of the tourists just kill me!! They think we’re just being too cautious! The water is very dangerous when the riptides are in fullforce as I can attest to first hand.
Unfortunately, the flags were flying as yellow all weekend! Not sure why, but they were! Even though most people should see yellow for what it is, CAUTION, most don’t pay attention to it! I think by mid day they should’ve changed it to red with all those rescues!
I almost drown about 20 years ago did not pay attention to the red flags. Was a very scary experience had to be rescued, Not Again,Pay attention to the flags ,they are there for a reason ,Imagine That !
