One person was critically injured when they were ejected in an early Friday morning wreck on Highway 29 in the Gonzalez area.
Alfred G. Youtzy, 34, of Milton, was northbound on Highway 29 near Archer Road at 2:15 a.m. when he ran off the paved portion of the road and traveled 209 feet before driving back on the pavement, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. His 1995 Ford pickup rotated and overturned twice before entering the grassy median where it overturned again.
The truck came to rest on its wheels in the median, and Youtzy was ejected. He was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital by Escambia County EMS where he was listed in critical condition.
A passenger in the vehicle, Joseph Ross, 35, of Pensacola, was transported by private vehicle to Sacred Heart with minor injuries.
Careless driving charges are pending against Youtzy, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Prayer is powerful and Alfie has many people praying for him!! We will continue to keep him and his family in all our thoughts and prayers!
My thoughts and prayers are with this family, be strong for him and yourselves. Keep talking to him he can hear you, good piece of advise though; try to keep calm when you visit with him (Which I know this is hard to do, because I’ve been through this). Keep him fighting to be strong so that he can recover… make sure someone is there for every visit, so that he knows he’s not alone. May god touch down on him and heal him, so that he can come back to his family and loved ones…

Alfred you and your family are in my prayers!
I doubt he was wearing a seatbelt.
Seatbelt use prevents most vehicle
ejections which are too often, fatal !!
It’s also the LAW !!!

It’s a hard way to learn a lesson. Hope Mr. Youtzy recovers.
Alfred we are praying for you!
