High Winds Cause Few Problems; Cold And Windy For Tuesday

Winds gusting in excess of 60 mph caused a few minor problems across the North Escambia area late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
The high winds behind a passing storm system caused scattered power outages and few downed power lines. No major damage was reported.
Here is your official North Escambia area forecast:
- Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
- Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.
- Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 29. North wind around 5 mph.
- Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 56. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.
- Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 29. North wind around 5 mph.
- Friday: Sunny, with a high near 60. North wind around 5 mph.
- Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 32. North wind around 5 mph.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 62. North wind around 5 mph.
- Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
- Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 67.
- Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45.
- Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70.
- Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51.
- Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71.
