Firefighters Respond To Vehicle Fire Next To Molino Home

The Molino Station of Escambia Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire reportedly threatening a structure near Molino this afternoon.

Fire stations across the area were dispatched to the 4700 block of Richardson Lane about 4:25 p.m. A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was fully involved in fire next to a house when they arrived.

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control without damage to the home. There were no injuries reported.

    I glad they got the fire out but if this was the emergency the Escambia county sheriff department was going to headed north on hwy 29 in excess of a 100 miles hour. Well that was very crazy because I don’t think a deputy sheriff would have made a different either way with this one cruiser being 5 minutes behind the others. Speed kills

    Thank goodness for the firefighters getting this fire put out so quickly, since this truck was so close to the house. Was anyone home? Do they know what started the fire? Glad there were no injuries to anyone…
