Blueberry Jamboree To Return
March 12, 2010
Mark your calenders — the Blueberry Jamboree is returning again this year.
About 5,000 people attended the first Blueberry Jamboree last year, and it will be back this year bigger and better on June 12 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Barrineau Park Community Center.
Artists and craftsmen are invited to showcase and sell their treasures at this family-friendly festival celebrating blueberries and bluegrass. The cost for a 10’ x 10’ space is $48.37. Registration and payment must be received by May 31.
To register or for more information, please contact the Brandi Daigle in Public Information at (850) 595-3476 or email brandy_daigle@myescambia.com.
The community center is located at 6055 Barrineau Park School Road in Molino.

hi new runner ,,, i live almost by the school .i would love to have a running buddy =)
Is anyone interested in starting a North Escambia County Runners club or a few people getting together to run on a routine basis? There a couple of good loops (approximately 4, 6, or 14 miles starting at the Barrineau Park Community Center.
I was a vendor last year. Due to the heat I had to leave around 4:00 pm. Plus, I did not even make my booth money……that is very sad. I do not like the hours last year. I am very glad to see the shorten hours. Maybe this year I will just visit. Really am happy the Barrieau Park School is being used. The building is very neat and very special to my family. My daughters went to elementary school there. GLAD THE FESTIVAL IS BACK!!!!!!!! Great for the community, plus those who do not live there……….
for those asking about Miss Blueberry — details have not be announced for a pageant yet. We’ll have any announcement here on NorthEscambia.com

It was a great event last year, hotter and more humid than I like, but a great community event. Hopefully it will grow (vendors) and be even better thisyear.
I hope that they will have more blueberry deserts this year, we never got any last year because so many people where there. Not complaining this is really good stuff.
Looking forward to it. Love that homemade blueberry jam.
