Authorities Search For Missing Atmore Grandmother

Authorities are asking for your help in finding a missing Atmore grandmother
The Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Department is looking for Ronda Carol Woods. She has not been seen or heard from since March 14. The sheriff’s office and her family say that they are concerned about her safety.
If you have seen Woods or have any information, call the Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Department at (251) 867-0304.

As a daughter who misses her mother very much, I am pleading for answers. If you are out there and you know where my mother is…please make yourself known. It’s been over a month since I’ve heard my mother’s voice. My family is desperate for closure. Mama, if you’re reading this, I pray that you’re ok…I love you and wish you a Happy Mother’s Day.

No…she has not been found. We still have no idea to her whereabouts or her condition/safety. We continue to pray for answers.

I agree! I think we deserve something. I have children who are devestated because of this and grandparents who are worrying themselves to death and family worriying about them!

Well….as her daughter, someone that knows her well…I’m thinking that RCW doesn’t sound like my mother but maybe an uneducated individual that she may be with. I’m not going to let this make me crazy whomever you are, but you’re making a mess of the lives of others in this family. I hope you can live with that.
Exactly MEX that’s what I was thinking…I wish Mr. William would look at the email used and see if it were hers…we are just grasping at straws right now. My grandparents are worried sick. My nanny had another mini stroke and my papa has been having anxiety attacks. We need to hear something!

For the comment on March 24, I guess for you it may seem dumb but as a sister I pray that you never have to feel the emptiness of not knowing that your loved one is safe. And if you have parents that are not in well health and you see them in pain and anxiety everyday im sure that you wouldn’t think it was so dumb. I pray that whoever you are may God grant you sympathy for a family that is hurting .
I think it is kinda of dumb that people are saying she is missing when she ant.. She wrote a letter saying she was leaving can anyone get the picture she is gone and dont wont to be found…
For pete’s sake…she left a note saying she was leaving…SHE IS NOT MISSING…she has simply left.
Ronda is my mother and we miss her very much. We pray that she is safe and for her return. She has two daughters, six grandchildren, sisters, a brother, parents, and a husband who love her dearly and are pleading for answers. Thank you to those of you that continue to pray for her.
Yes she does have a husband but my dad knows nothing more than anyone else…
i hope they find her safe and sound. i know her from seeing her around the atmore area. does she have a boyfriend or husband? have the authorities talked to either of them? questions and answers.
This is my mother, she is 48 years old, she is about 4′11″, ash brown hair, average weight. As far as her grandchildren they are fine and are being taken very well care of. The well being of my grandparents is one of main concerns. We pray that we hear something soon and that my nanny and papa hang in there. Thanks to everyone for thwir concern and prayers.
I have known Ronda for years, she is one of my friends, and I pray that she is safe, and that her family hears something from her soon. If by chance she is reading these comments, I hope that she knows how very much she is missed, loved and needed. My prayers will continue for her, her family and her mom and dad.

who is she? I have been here all my life and have never seen or heard of her….i had seen where they (family) said that she may have changed her hair color…do they think she has gone off on her own accord? I hope she is safe…
