Three men were busted after deputies say they tried to break into a pharmacy on Highway 29 in Cantonment.

Kristopher Body Pickelheimer, 27, of Highway 95A Cantonment;  Van Darren Lovercheck, 31, of Milton; and Shane Michael Bergin of Pensacola, were each charged with criminal mischief property damage, possession of burglary tools and burglary. All three were released from the Escambia County Jail on $5,500 bond each.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at Kim’s Family Pharmacy about 11:30 Sunday night. When they arrived, they witnessed a vehicle speeding away. The three men were inside the vehicle when deputies stopped it, and the trio said they were just looking for scrap metal.

Deputies found a tire iron and screwdriver in the car, and they also found several pry marks on the back door of the pharmacy.

Everyone needs to be carefully people think I am silly for putting cameras, and driveway sensors on our property but if your not home there is no way to prove anyone was there, and all you have is a empty shed & house, everyone should invest in some type of security u can get a wireless camera for less then $50.00 and that includes the whole set up good luck

Their already out on bail of only $5,500, when obviously their druggies
    and robbers.

Wow, and the poor officers risk their lives to get these bums, after
all they could have had guns.

    They should rot in jail…..

I am glad they were closed because someone could have been hurt. I go to the grocery store there only when it is day light. A few years ago a delivery man had a gun put to his head and robed. If wal mart would match their prices I would go to wal mart but it’s not safe either no where is safe this day and time. I feel sorry for anyone that tries to get my daughter in law she was in the army and was in Irag somebody will be hurting and I don’t think it will be her. Sickum girl!

Looks like a fine group of young men!! Put them on work release for about a year, and see if they can walk between Cantonment and Alabama Florida line picking up paper and cans off the sides of the road. Maybe even add a little ball and chain to help keep their balance.

kim, isn’t this the 2nd incident at your place that i have read about? I would get the heck outta dodge, that isn’t a great area your in. Whenever i go in the grocery there, i am always aware of my surroundings and making sure i don’t walk out alone.
