Tate Girls Fall In Semifinals; Aggie Boys Beat Choctaw; Jay Royals Win

The Jay Royals beat Baker 57-50 in a District 1-2A semifinal game Friday. Tessa Hendricks had 28 for the Royals and was 16 of 18 at the free throw line. Jay had 42 free throws during the game, hitting 27.

Pine Forest beat the Tate Aggies (12-11) in the District 1-5A semifinals Friday night in girl’s basketball. Courtney Brown led the Aggies with 21.

The Tate Aggies improved to 17-8 with a win over Choctawhatchee Friday. Tevin Brown had 21 for Tate, and Chris Walden added 19.
