It All Adds Up: Northview Math Team Wins Big

The Northview High School Math Team placed second overall during the Annual JDCC Invitational Math Tournament Thursday at Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton.
Four of the top 10 winners were from Northview: AJ Lambert, Josie Doucette, Laneicia Gomez and Jamichael Carson.
Northview’s participants were: Emily Vickery, Holly Dickson, Justin Halteman, Josie Doucette, Laneicia Gomez, Jamichael Carson, Ty Randolph, Clint Davis, Dustin Lewis, Colton Sims, AJ Lambert and Seth Leonard.

Way to go Chiefs!! Great job to all of you…I am so proud…especially of my A.J. for getting 4th out of 143 students…and the whole team 2nd out of 8 schools…and so close to getting 1st…you will take 1st next year I just know it…you all did an awesome job!!!!!
Alright-Way to go! I was tickled to hear how the Northview High Students excelled at this competition and took home the 2nd place title & trophey. A special congrats. to the 4 who placed top 10 in the competition as well. Keep cracking those books and all you will continue to see all that hard work pay off.
