Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Santa Rosa County

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for north Santa Rosa County until 11:15 p.m.

Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm in north Santa Rosa County capable of producing quarter size hail.

A severe thunderstorm warning for North Escambia was allowed to expire at 10:45 as the storm moved into Santa Rosa County.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of natures number one killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

    They got the hail size right, we got quarter size or better in Bay Springs at 10:15 pm.
