Fire Departments Respond To Tom Thumb

Several are fire departments responded to the Tom Thumb on Highway 31 in Flomaton about 7:15 morning.

The store’s clerk reported smelling smoke.

When firefighters arrived, there was no smoke visible, and it was determined that the smell was coming from the building’s heating unit. No damage was discovered, but the company will reportedly have the heating unit inspected.

The store is open for business as usual.
