Another Hard Freeze Tonight

We are headed for another hard freeze in North Escambia tonight, with lows forecast to be just a bit warmer at about 20.

A red flag warning is in effectfrom 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. because of a humidity level that could fall to 15 percent this afternoon. A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are occurring now. A combination of low relative humidity and dry fuel will create rapid fire growth potential. Outdoor burning should be avoided.

  • Monday: Sunny, with a high near 50. Wind chill values between 15 and 25 early. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.
  • Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 20. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 53. Wind chill values between 20 and 30 early. Calm wind becoming north between 5 and 10 mph.
  • Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 25. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
