Four people, including three children, were injured in a two vehicle accident on Highway 29 south of Bogia Road Monday morning.

The accident, reported just after 11:30, involved Chevrolet Camaro and an 18-wheel truck. The Camaro and the flatbed trailer of the semi apparently collided, sending the car into the median.

Three children in the Camaro, reported to be ages 5, 10 and 13, and the adult driver were transported to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the semi was not injured.

The McDavid, Century and Molino stations of Escambia Fire Rescue, Escambia County EMS, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash.

The accident is still under investigation by the FHP. Further details were not immediately available.

This was not the fault of the semi. I am glad everyone is doing okay other then being sore. God was with them.

I hope and pray all are going to be ok. I have seen too many times people pull out in front of Semi’s and just cringe at the thought of them being hit from behind because these “big guys” can’t stop on a dime like most cars. Not saying that this is what happened here. I live on 29, and I watch the traffic going down 29 all the time. It amazes me too see how fast all these people go. Its hard just to get out of my driveway. People need to just SLOW DOWN!
Many years ago I fought like heck to not let the transportation department allow the speed limit go to 65 through Molino. With help of another friend and our children getting on buses we did win our fight to keep it 55. No one seems to slow down from the 65 speed limit to 55. Everyone seems to be in such a big hurry all the time. And we all wonder why there are so many accidents? I know some of these semi’s race through Molino like its a race track. I am sick of it. I feel I’ve done my part to keep the speed limit down, but alot of good it did us. No one seems to obey the speed limit laws. Slow Down, pay attention, it does save lives.

I am glad everyone involved are okay. I drive 29, too and see how people drive, not just the semi’s but regular cars as well. My husband drives a semi and have been in the truck with him and have seen first hand how some cars jump in front of him, it is not easy to put brakes like a vehicle does. Some people play a dangerous game with semi’s. Just to let you know there is unsafe drivers to both semis and cars.

the way ppl drive on 29 nothing supprises me anymore.
They used to scare me so bad I would speed to try to
get away from them, but that just made them worse.

When I realized they enjoyed it, I just slowed down like
I had always done, obeyed the laws, and when they
came up on me, I would pull over and let them pass
then go slow until they went.

I have had truckers on 29 chase me for an hour harrassing
    me.

    JERKS!

I hope this wasn’t another person who was being harrassed
    by a cowardly bully.
