Saw this happen several times while growing up in Brewton during the 1930’s. Really feel for the people affected by the flood.

I have thought about brewton the whole time and my heart goes out to this town because my daughter lives here. I just hope that things will get back to normal and we do not have this again with the new rain that is coming…

THE LAST TIME I SEEN BREWTON LIKE THIS WAS BACK IN THE 80’s. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE BUSINESS’S THAT ARE GOING TO HAVE TO START FRESH ALL OVER AGAIN, AND FOR RESIDENCE’S THAT MIGHT HAVE SUFFERED THE SAME DAMAGE. BREWTON IS A STRONG COMMUNITY AND I KNOW THEY WILL PULL TOGETHER TO GET THE TOWN AND HOMES BACK TO WORKING AND LIVING CONDITION. GOD BLESS BREWTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
